Reunion of the Sisterhood

Some updates on SAM Fiesta.

It wasn’t as good as i expected it to be but I did have fun.

We went back to my apartment later that night and did some experimenting with some glowing sticks we got from the fiesta. Love the outcome.

And oh, we (my best best gals) had our reunion last Saturday. About time we did! It’s been like 2 months?! It wasn’t just any occasion, we celebrated Nat’s birthday.

Had a crazy night with Tiff. Reminds me of church camp 07! And that picture Nat took for us in the car. Whacky!

The Month February

The past 3 weeks have been crazily stressful. Test after test. But yeah, I haven’t gone nuts yet. In fact, I think I handled the pressure pretty well. *sense of accomplishment*

Despite all, tests are finally over and what better way to celebrate than to celebrate your best gf’s birthday?

As I said earlier, I shall leak a lil on the video making of the kidnapping which was played during camp as part of the treasure hunt. Just so you know, I had no experience doing this sort of thing so it was certainly something very new to me. Was really excited on that day (I know Ruth was ).

Lesson learnt : Say no to PINK!

Camp was a really good way to end my days in S’wan before heading to college. Learnt so much, got to know some people, strengthening and building relationships.

This particular camp was a whole new experience for me, especially being the official photographer for the first time which I deeply and greatly enjoyed. One thing tho, had to sacrifice not being inside most of the shots. Still, no regrets! I know I’m still not very good at it yet but yeah, I’m learning! Hopefully by the end of this year I’ll be good enough to earn new lenses! Photography rocks!

first 3 weeks of SAM, what have I done?

It has not even been 24 hours since I came back to S’wan but here I am already blogging. lol.

My last 21 days in Subang Jaya:

Number 1

First of  course there are classes to attend, new subs, new environment to adapt, house chores to do.

Nat’s my coll classmate! It’s a pretty long story how and why but yeah, we are so blessed to have each other.

Tell me, how often do best childhood friends still end up in the same place after 12 years?!

Number 2

Went shopping together with Nat last Saturday in One U for CNY clothing. Sat my first bus in KL. Lol. Nat and I are like the best shopping partners to each other. All the encouragement we gave to one another, of course it made us empty our pockets a lil more but……. all in all, it was a very satisfying shopping trip

Number 3

Manage to meet up with Alan, Chia Ching and Andrew one of the Friday nights. Had dinner at Tony Rommas (I hope I got the name correct). Food was good. No pictures tho. Went to Andrew’s condo after dinner.

No we did NOT drink.

Number 4

Been going to Whispering Hope church for the past 3 weeks. Thanks to Alston and Uncle Sam (not my dad) who have been our chauffeurs. Adults there are really outgoing and fun. Young at heart. Worship over there is very much different from S’wan but at least I had a taste of S’wan worship lead by Alston and his team last Sunday. Miss that.

Number 5

Met Daryl and his Melbourne friends.

Number 6

Daddy took Nat, Chris and me out for dinner twice for Chinese Food!

Nah, we din have that, just felt like putting the picture.

So yeah, first 3 weeks of Jan is officially gone. Met new friends, lecturers, people. Basically it’s like entering primary one where you don’t know anyone and anything and starting everything from scratch. College life isn’t as exciting as people say (for me) but it isn’t boring either. Boredom actually starts after class.

Whaaaat…? No laptop, no storybooks. I was bored… and restless.

Another thing I do when I’m bored. Draw and Colour. *ignore the words, it was random*

Something I’ve been faithfully wearing everyday to coll for the past three weeks. Reminds me of the special one who made it.

I’m so glad to be home.

The Last Gathering

28th of December was the last youth activity of the year 2008.

Nat was  the bassist of the night.

The games were simply hilarious. Was laughing the whole night.

The Nan Hwa Gang.

The five of us gals met up for the last time this year yesterday. Was one of the most emotional day I’ve ever experienced. But yeah, it was just a matter of time when we’ll be separated. I’m really looking forward to college life but at the same time I know I’m gonna miss them terribly. TERRIBLY.

I know most of you are expecting a post about Youth Camp but unfortunately it’s not happening… yet. Was just talking to a friend the other day about how both of us lost the motivation to blog. Anyway,

Time flies.

Camp made me realized a lot. Especially knowing who are the people that i really hold dearly in my heart.

I’m glad we went as five.

This week has been totally awesome (even tho i burst my balloon twice ).  And it’s only going to get better! Right now I’m just enjoying and appreciating the time I have left. No pressure no worries.

I initially had no plans today until JS text me to hang out at Chris’s place, do some clicking at the same time. Of course without hesitation i said yes.
